Prestige Warranty
Every Prestige home comes with a comprehensive warranty. Before you move in, your Prestige builder will explain how the warranty works - what's covered and for what periods of time; what's excluded; how to request service, if needed; and how the Prestige Service Program works. You will also find helpful information about the warranty in the Home Owner Manual.
- Year One: The Prestige Homes Warranty guarantees the workmanship and materials used in your home for the first year. During that time, we will repair or replace any work or materials that prove to be defective under normal circumstances and use.
- Year Two to Seven: Your home will be covered by a structural warranty from a third-party warranty provider. This covers major structural deficiencies or failures only. Your home is registered with the warranty provider when construction begins; to activate the warranty you need to complete the enrolment forms, usually done after the customer orientation.
- Extended product warranties: Many of the products used in the construction of your home are covered by manufacturers' warranties that will be passed on to you. Read them carefully so you know what's covered and for how long, and return warranty registration cards, where needed, to initiate coverage for items such as appliances.
