Quality Assurance
We believe that the best way to take care of our customers is to make sure we build it right. At Prestige, quality is everybody's business, not something relegated to a single quality inspector. Quality control is integrated into every step of the construction process.
|
- Your plans are checked and double-checked by your Prestige builder and our Prestige Homes staff in Sussex.
- At the construction approval meeting, we review the final drawings, specifications and selections with you. Construction won't start until you OK everything.
- A quality assurance checklist follows your home through all stages of construction, signed by supervisors along the way.
- Our workforce is trained, skilled and experienced. We value our staff, and many have been with us for years. Ultimately, everyone in the plant is responsible for quality control.
- Before your home leaves the factory, it is inspected from top to bottom, inside and out, and signed off by the inspector. Once it arrives on site, the home is checked again.
- The Homeowner Orientation Tour is the final step in the quality control process before you take possession. We will inspect the entire home with you to make sure that everything is done right and in accordance with the approved plans. We will make note of any deficiencies (i.e. items missing) or defects (e.g. a scratch) and give you a plan of action for dealing with them.
- Just as importantly, during the orientation tour we will demonstrate the systems and features of your home, inside and out. This includes general information on how to operate and maintain them, how to troubleshoot and who to contact for service. You also get literature with maintenance information from manufacturers of products and materials used in your home.
